Syllabus
 For the Academic year 2013-14:
Syllabus was modified for the first, second, third and fourth semesters which effects from the2013-’14 academic year joined batch.
I Semester: “The Statistical methods and elements of Probability” to
“Descriptive Statistics and Probability” and it’s objective is to give the scope and limitations of Statistics in different fields and also o learn basic statistical methods.
II Semester: “Fundamentals of Distribution Theory”
III Semester: “Statistical Inference –I”  and

IV Semester:“Statistical Inference –II”
Syllabus was modified for the V& VI semesters with the following titles
V Semester: “ Sampling methods and  Design of Experiments”(Paper 5)
SQC And Reliability”(Paper 6)

VI Semester: In “Applied Statistics, last unit “ Official Statistics” was deleted in place of which “ Statistics and Psychology and Education” was included.(Paper 7)
For the Academic year 2016-17:
As per the APSCHE structure , the syllabus was unitized into 5 units instead of 4 for the first four semesters and the tittles and objectives are given below. This modified syllabus will come into effect from 2016-’17 joined batch.
I Semester: “Descriptive Statistics and Probability” and it’s objective is to give the scope and limitations of Statistics in different fields and also o learn basic statistical methods.
II Semester: “Probability Distributions”. It’s objective is to learn the Probability distributions of Statistics and their applications in different fields.
III Semester: “Exact Sampling distributions & Estimation”. It’s objective is to study the bi variate data and to analyze it in different situations in real life.

IV Semester: “Testing of Hypothesis”. It’s objective is to test the hypothesis of the given data whether it a large or small sample, by applying different statistical techniques.
For the Academic year 2017-18:
